One of the frequent complains my frequent readers had with my stories on my previous site (www.nsfwauthor.info) was the long time it took to get to the sex when a new story began! It often took 4 to 7 chapters, and Faith, with 10 chapters, still has ZERO sex in it.
It’s not purely by chance: the focus of the new stories on this site is CMNF and not sexuality, but still, I feel a little ashamed that the first sexuality will be in chapter 11 or 12 (and most likely 12).
But I am very happy to have written 6 new chapters over the last few days, even if 2 of those chapters had been started during my vacation last year. To be honest, however, even the most advanced one wasn’t even 25% done so most of the new content is exactly that, new content.
Faith is quickly ending its introduction, while Karen will pivot to reach a new relationship level, but it’s The Circle I am most happy with since the idea of Stephanie and Kim being Surrendered Wives to Mike was in the initial plan. The idea is from an actual book I actually own and was impressed with.
In my planning, the actual ideas from the book were used, since I had read it recently, but now, I only have a superficial memory of it.
I have a pair of Pets chapters underway (the same evening from Ellie and Candy’s points of view, in sequence), but as I was writing them, I realized that I had already written them last year, but can’t find them!!! It’s really frustrating: I think I must have written them on my old laptop with wrote, if so, it would be only the second time I actually lost a file (for the first, I still have it, but I password encrypted it and can’t figure out the password! It sucked, so I don’t worry that much…). Or perhaps I just remember writing them and never actually did?
What I am most excited about however is that I wrote at least 1 chapter per day for the last few days, and on some days, two of them. This is how I had managed to keep a schedule on nsfwauthor.info, but it’s also how I got burned out the last 2 times I tried.
This time, however, I don’t have a schedule I want to keep, I don’t have a buffer to keep full, I don’t have objectives. All I want to do is write and move my stories forward.
I will run out of ideas at some points, and unlike the previous times, I do not have new stories to bring to the table. Well, that’s not 100% true…
I do have 2 more stories I could start if I get stuck:
1 ) Phil. I had started it on nsfwauthor.info but I HATED IT. With a passion. I never managed to write a story which reflected my notes properly, but I desperately want to try again.
2 ) Helena. This was actually my first CMNF story, never written, but fully planned out. The reason I never wrote it, was because when I made the plan, it was, in my mind, a full plan, but I was… 11. Yes, this story was planned when I was but a tween (and the term tween didn’t even exist yet).
But thinking back, I think that Helena, remade to be more serious as a story, might work. My main worry with adding these two stories is that, well, Phil is based on Helena!!! Phil was my first attempt to bring Helena into a more mature story.
So could two stories, vastly different from one another, work when they have the same key elements into them?
I’ll write a summary of both soon, you’ll get to see and judge for yourself.
